It all started with two lifelong friends, Sam and Jeffrey, who shared a love of food, community, and—most of all—dogs. One day, while tossing around ideas, inspiration struck: what if a food truck wasn’t just for people, but for pups?
They rolled up their sleeves, got into the kitchen, and began baking with wholesome, natural ingredients like blueberries, bananas, pumpkin, and peanut butter. The first taste-testers—the dogs of their neighborhood—went wild, and The Barking Spot LA was born.
Next came their pride and joy: a lovingly restored 53-year-old vintage P-10 van. With every bolt tightened and every brushstroke painted, their vision came to life. Today, The Barking Spot LA is more than just a dog treat truck—it’s a rolling celebration of love, laughter, and wagging tails. Because every good dog deserves a great treat. 🦴
